Resource Cafe
Due to the overwhelming numbers and stress placed on local shelter systems, Nuevas Raíces (formerly Dormir es Poder) has opened a Resource Cafe to help provide migrants and people in need with a place to go, grab a free meal, and access resources such as -consultation with a street medic every Tuesday, free clothing, hygiene kits, blankets in the winter, and a free pantry (donation of canned goods accepted from 6:30 am - 1 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays).
Nuevas Raíces will continue to raise funds to support migrant shelters in Juarez.
